Overview
Curriculum-based courses are efficient, but they can't replicate the focused attention of a private session. In a 1:1 personal coaching session, every minute is spent on what you specifically need and want to work on — not on content you've already mastered.
Before your session, we'll have a brief telephone conversation about your goals, your current skill level, and what you want to accomplish. I will build a session plan around that conversation and adjust it in real time based on what I observe. You'll leave with specific, actionable feedback and a clear picture of what to practice before your next session.
Personal coaching is available for pistol, rifle, or any combination. It's also available for gear and equipment consulting — if you want guidance on a firearm, optic, or other accessory purchase, I can help you identify and evaluate appropriate options based on your use case and budget.
Curriculum
Pre-Session Consultation
A conversation before your session to identify your specific goals and design the most effective session possible. Conducted by phone or email — no charge, no obligation.
Personalized Skill Assessment
Your session begins with a brief assessment so your instructor understands exactly where you are, not just where you think you are. This shapes everything that follows.
Targeted Instruction & Drills
Focused work on your specific development areas, with drills chosen for your skill level and your firearm. Real-time feedback on every repetition.
Video Analysis (Optional)
Slow-motion video of your shooting technique, reviewed together with your instructor. Seeing what you're doing is often more effective than being told.
Gear & Equipment Consulting
If your session includes gear guidance, we'll evaluate your current setup, discuss your needs, and provide specific recommendations — with no sales incentive behind any of them.
Session Debrief & Training Plan
Every session ends with a clear summary of what was covered, what improved, what still needs work, and a specific practice plan to bridge the gap until your next session.
