Overview
A firearm that hasn't been properly maintained or set up is a liability, not an asset. Whether your rifle scope was never properly mounted or sighted in, your red dot drifts off zero, or your pistol hasn't been cleaned since you bought it, I can help you — professionally, thoroughly, and without upselling you on services you don't need.
I perform basic maintenance and cleaning services for the firearms we teach with: pistols, and bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles. I also mount and zero scopes and red-dot optics.
Every appointment includes an honest assessment of your firearm's current condition and a plain-English explanation of what I'm doing and why.
Pricing is available when you book. Turnaround times are discussed at booking based on current workload — typically 5–10 business days for most services.
Services
Field-Strip Cleaning & Function Check
Complete disassembly to the field-strip level, thorough cleaning of all components, lubrication with appropriate products for your firearm and use case, and a function check before return. The baseline service every firearm needs periodically.
Deep Cleaning
For firearms that have been heavily used, neglected, stored improperly, or exposed to harsh conditions. More thorough than a field-strip clean — appropriate for firearms that haven't been cleaned in over a year or that show significant carbon buildup.
Scope Mounting
Proper ring and base installation, torquing to spec, and bore-sighting. Includes reticle leveling — the step most DIY mounts skip and that causes the canting problems that throw off your holds at distance.
Optic Zeroing
Taking your rifle or pistol to the range and establishing a confirmed zero. Includes a target with the confirmed zero distance documented. Available as a standalone service or combined with scope mounting.
Red Dot & Reflex Sight Installation
Mounting red dot and reflex sights on pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Includes proper torque, thread locker application where appropriate, and a confirmed zero.
Suppressor-Ready Threading
Thread protector installation and evaluation of your barrel's condition for suppressor use. We do not manufacture suppressors or assist with NFA transfers — threading only.
Trigger Evaluation & Consultation
Assessment of your current trigger — pull weight, reset, take-up, and overtravel. Honest advice on whether an aftermarket trigger is warranted for your use case, and what options are appropriate for your firearm.
